Fifth 12.18. I haven't actually seen you criticise Hama's on this site. On the contrary I am pretty sure it was you that defended terror attacks on Jewish citizens in Israel.
No matter how much we seek to suggest anti Israel doesn't mean anti-Jew, people will mistrust those that then defend the actions of Hama's for being anti-Jewish.
So while I agree with much of your sentiment, Corbyn has to go if he thinks their actions make them our "friends".

I do believe that some people are falsely labelled as anti-semitic for making genuine criticism of Israeli govt policy.
Can I ask you if you think also that some people use criticism of Israel as a cloak for making anti-semitic remarks?

Israel appears to be the only country where one side play the religion card whilst the other just want their homes back. I'm sure you can work out which side uses Judiasm as their ace.

What has what happened to Jews in OTHER COUNTRIES got to do with the Palestinians? We are discussing the PalestinianIsraeli conflict.
I have no problem whatsoever accepting the idea that any people kicked off their land should be compensated or allowed to return - that applies to Jewish communities in other Arab countries. You are 100% correct.
This doesn't form part of any negotiation or discussion on PalestineIsrael because the Palestinians have no responsibility for what happened to Jewish people in other countries.

5th, regarding compensation for loss. I think there have been offers of this in the past, but there is never any mention of compensating the innocent jewish people who were disposessed in arab states in possibly greater numbers as a consequence.

Also, on a wider level, I would suggest that human beings have a moral right to exist. Lines drawn on a map change and are somewhat arbitrary. If Scotland votes for independence then the UK changes irrevocably.
The more important question is, do you think all the people living in Israel/Palestine should be able to live there free of war and occupation then the answer should be "yes". How you then come up with a 'state' that accommodates this is another question.
I personally think one democratic state with legal protections for all and no state religion at all would be the ideal scenario. You may say this is unrealistic but the two state solution clearly isn't a solution.
Those Palestinians who had their land nicked i.e. individually lost houses/land that they had the deeds to should be given it back in this process.
So the focus is on your individual moral right under the law and not a pointless, never ending debate about Israel/Palestine's respective right to exist - which the extremes on both sides will not accept.

I don't deny that it happens, and you're right its disgusting and also counter-productive as it removes the ability to identify the real anti-semitism that does exist.
However, I think you may be exaggerating slightly.
Israel's government deserves criticism and would do well to listen to much of it without waving any banners of anti-semitism, but it also needs to be on its guard against its very real enemies and their propaganda machine.

I've criticised Israel and been told it's anti-Semitic to do so. People do make this claim all the time, to take just one example,
"why do you only criticise Israel and no other country - that's anti-Semitic"... so in order to not be anti-Semitic then every time you criticise Israel you also have to list all other countries e.g. Saudi, Russia, China that are also cunts. Of course that's ridiculous.
If you criticise Hamas, people don't go, "what about the Colombian drug gangs exploding bombs or the Buddists attacking the Muslims or ISIS... you can't criticise Hamas without criticising every other terrorist group in the world - otherwise you're being hateful towards Palestinians you Wacist".
Zionists and their supporters - those who support the idea that it is legitimate for Christians and Muslims who've been living on the land for hundreds of years to be kicked off and then occupied - use every possible excuse to make any criticism of Israel or Zionism equate to anti-Semitism.

That's not true. Nobody in their right mind would accuse you of being an anti-semite just because you criticised Israel's settlement policy.
However, if you infer that Israel has no right to exist, then that would be deemed anti-semitic.

You can easily talk about history and how the Romans nicked land or whoever and call them cunts and not be accused of being racist. Today you can call the Russians cunts for invading the Ukraine - not xenophobic. You can call the Saudis cunts for being women hating, corrupt scumbags and it's not anti-Muslim.
But call the Israelis cunts for occupying someone's land and "ANTI SEMITE, ANTI SEMITE".
It's bollocks and just a ploy to stop people criticising Israel.
Also, it undermines the seriousness of when people actually ARE anti-Semitic.

This thread is about zionists going after people who question a variety of policies implemented by right wing Israelis who then get accused of being anti semitic.
